BC Beer – Red Racer Pale Ale
Oh no! This is the last of the Red Racer posts. That is until more canned offerings from Surrey’s Central City come out. I have a feeling that I’ll have to go to Surrey to get more Central City beer. Rumour has it that there is more great beer there that doesn’t get canned up. I think I’ll have to go all Dick Tracy and investigate these rumours. I think during Vancouver Craft Beer Week will be the perfect time.
Red Racer Pale Ale is a bright copper, cleary
with a head that looks like the Rocky Mountains in January.
Leaving glaciers like an ice age.
Smelling like pine with citrus is the hoppage,
with some sweet malt to back that up.
Flavours of smooth caramel with pine dancing in your cup.
Smooth with a fuller body than most
to Red Racer Pale Ale I toast!
For a small bitterness,
clean, dry, finish.
I promise never to do this again.
I love this Pale Ale. It’s like the little brother to the IPA.
