Six Dead Frogs
I’ve now had all six of Dead Frog’s offering on the market currently. The 2 1/2 Anniversary Ale, available in the winter mixer, is running out and soon to go to the way of the Gastric Brooding Frog. It’s being replaced with the Pepper Lime Lager I featured yesterday. That post makes five out of six. This post makes six out of six.
Dead Frog’s Pale Ale is a hugely malty pale ale, somewhat of a rarity here in Cascadia. Lots of caramel, some biscuit, toffee and hints of a citrus and grassy hops. A very drinkable beer, but it lacks a je ne sais quoi to keep it on my radar.

Dead Frog Lime Pepper Lager – Good
With the exception of the Honey Brown, I genuinely enjoyed all the Dead Frog beers. Very solid, faultless beers. They’d make the perfect “lawnmower beers” or an introductory beers in to the world of craft.
