BC Beer – Howe Sound Diamond Head Oatmeal Stout

I love Oatmeal Stouts. It’s something about that silky, supple smoothness that does it for me. It’s what imagine Jessica Alba’s thighs feel like. Oatmeal stouts are like Jessica Alba in a glass. Smooth, delicious, and beautiful.

Diamond Head is truly one of these “Jessica Alba’s in a glass.” The aroma is a perfect blend of roasted coffee and chocolate. This follows through and is joined by a light, subtle, cherry flavour mid-way through the palate. This dark elixir gently wraps my tongue in its satin-like smoothness, then proceeds to finish slightly sweet.  Much like I imagine Miss Alba would.
